Well, today is my baby's birthday and i can't believe he's three. We all love that little boy so much, right up to the moon and back!! Where does time go? Sometimes I want my time back, time with my kids and time with my family. I can't believe how big all of my kids are, but I don't feel like I am as old as a really am. I still feel like a 16 year old most of the time, waiting for the parents to come get the kids I'm babysitting. I just hope I'm doing my job good enough. But anyways back to Dylan, he is the cutest, snuggliest, loveliest, caring boy his age. He always shares whatever he has that the other 2 want, always kisses your boo boos and says cute endearing things. Just the other day he said "mom lovey so much" man how cute. He always wants you to "like " his drawings and will ask multiple times " you like it?" I have to say our family wouldn't have been complete without him, he is a true blessing. I am thankful for him everyday. Children teach us so much, don't they? He took too long of a nap today, so we'll be taking him to Jumping Jacks tomorrow and have his party on Sat. Today we just gave him one present( that wasn't really in the plan, but if you know me I'm just as excited as they are) and watched Monsters Vs. Aliens. Well here are some of my favorite Dylan moments...............

Dylan on the slip n slide

Dylan wanted to slide, so Eric had to help him. It was hilarious.

It's been soooo long..........

Well I haven't done a post for so long, I don't know where to start. My mom's surgery went well in July and we are all so grateful for that. She stayed down here with us for about a week and we'll be getting her back in a couple of days again!! The kids were excited to start school, although dylan is a little lost without them. he is so happy when they come home he always meets them at the door. then he instantly says " play me" meaning play with me. Dylan has all the sudden started talking so much more and i LOVE it. he cracks me up. the other day i asked him for a kiss and i just kept kissing him and he says "crazy" he makes my heart happy. he always seems to know when i need a love or to laugh, that seems odd that a 3 year old can be so in tune with some one's emotions, but maybe it's because he is still so innocent. Kayson is just plugging along in scouts and will be getting a couple of awards next week one of which is the square knot. i am so proud of him and his willingness to learn. myklin is our athlete and can't wait to start playing sports again and is becoming quite the little reader. i have just been doing the mom thing. i only do leveled library one day a week so far and just got my first calling at church(activity day leader). i am looking forward to fall i love that time of year. on labor day we are going camping up to deer camp, this will be dylan's first time up there. we will also go to matea's daughter's baptism. that will be a good experience for all of us. well i guess that's about it, see not to exciting.

Well we have been a little busy here. Myklin has been going to this little camp for the girls in our ward 3 days a week and kayson has scouts. Plus all the play dates and birthday parties. Well my friend Allison invited us to her father in laws farm last night for a BBQ and riding horses. It was a great time all the kids rode the horses and just played with all the kids. I am so glad we have the friends we have, they are such great people. Allison's father in law was the sweetest grandpa , he told the kids they could come back any time. Which to myklin means today...... silly girl. We are also leaving to go up to Monroe tomorrow for a couple of weeks. We will go to the Manti Mormon Miracle Pageant and then to Fish lake. My mom's birthday is on Tuesday the 30Th and then the fourth of July yeah!!!!

Random.........

So lately I've been up and down emotionally. My mom has to have open heart surgery on the 7Th of July and that's scary. there i said it I'm scared. i know she will be OK , but she is still my mom and it seems like the older i get the more i need her. i know you would think that I'd just grow up and put on my big girl pants but she is my best friend. it is also heart breaking to me that i could have been so close to her for so many more years if i wouldn't have been a rotten teenager. i wish i could have that time back to be the kid she deserved. i know I've grown up since then and I'm not the same person i was then , but i want to let her know i really am sorry for any time i made her sad or worried. why is it that you always look back and say man mom you were right? i wish we all always did or said the things we are supposed to, but that isn't always realistic is it? It has also been hard because she is the one i confide in and how do i confide in her when it's about her? my close friends (Rachele and Allison)have been wonderful to listen to me and offer their help with my children. i hope they know how much they mean to me. my emotions come and go it catches me off guard sometimes and the next thing you know I'm crying again. on one of my favorite blogs i follow she said one day she was traveling with her children and using the GPS and it told her to turn , well the GPS didn't know that where a field once was , was a new high way. she related this to God and said that is how we are, we can only see the field and he can see the high way. well i bawled like a baby when i read this because it is true. We are only human and can't see everything. so while God knew my mom would need this surgery i did not. i am thank full for Him and know he will be with her during the surgery. everything will be fine. I would appreciate any of you to please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. this was really more for myself than a new post, but i needed it. i love you mom.

What's better than anything on a Hot Summer Day?

So Summer is here and we're loving it! We have
the best friends and the best weather to enjoy
the summer. Yesterday my friend Rachele
and I sat & watched the kids play in the pool
for about 3 to 4 hours. How much fun is it
to have your friends have kids that are
friends with your kids. They are the sweetest
family and we are so lucky to have them as
friends. Then our other friend Allison came
by and we chatted some more. I would just
like to say how much I appreciate their
friendship and love being their friend. :)
We also took the kids to Pirate Island Pizza
on Monday but of course my batteries went
dead in the camera:( Well the kids had a blast
doing both things. And we have more planned
for summer, can't hardly wait!! Also myklin
had a ball game on Tuesday and kayson got
another award at scouts(pics to come later)

Just Stuff

These are the vanilla sugar cookie pops that me and the kids love. so i made some more of them . we used that edible colored spray, they turned out pretty darn good.

Yesterday Myklin wanted to play with her moon sand and this is what i got to pick up afterwards. Although at least you can just vacuum it up. i am not a lover of play dough.

Well Myklin was supposed to have a baseball game on Tuesday, but by the time i parked it started raining. they canceled the game, but i got a good pic of a rainbow.
Any way i guess that's it for today, the kids are enjoying staying up late and sleeping in. and i love having them home. we have been renting movies from netflix, i keep getting ones from when i was little that they of course say they wont like. and then kayson always says " is there a sequel" silly kid.

It's officially summer :)

More kids playing video games in Kayson's room.

Playing video games Katelyn, Andrew, Jacob and Kayson.

Kayson answering me with a mouth full of Oreo. Only the boys understood what he said when he answered me. kids....

Here is their goofy pic.

This is at about 10 pm at Allison's house. They were a little tired. Kayson at the top then Andrew , Clay, Cort, Mitchell, Josh and Jacob.

Kayson trying to hide in the cupboard. Clay was standing right at the end of the counter counting (he was it) and he opened his eyes and saw Kayson. too funny.

Here they are playing apples to apples. This is one of Kayson and Josh's favorite games.

Here is a picture of the boys. Notice Kayson doesn't have a guitar , the 2 he has were being used.(good old air guitar)

Here is Kayson's last day of the 4th grade and Myklin's last day of the 1st grade. Man time flies.

My friend Allison and I decided to let our boys have a last day of school party. So the plan was to have them walk to my house and play . Then at 5 they went to her house to play, eat and watch a movie. It worked out wonderfully. At my house they played guitar hero and had candy. They also decorated a sugar cookie pop. At Allison's they played night games and hide and go seek. they also did a scavenger hunt. I am so greatfull Kayson has friends like these, they are such a good group of boys. it's sad they won't all be in the same class next year. while Kayson was doing all of this Myklin was over to her friends house swimming in their pool. when i picked her up she kept saying i went in the deep end mom. what a big girl! I am sad this school year is over ,but glad at the same time. There is baseball, scouts, lagoon, camping, Manti pageant, temple, Fish Lake and everything in between. And Now this morning we're off to Monroe for the weekend. We will help plant a garden and hang out with the fam. Can't wait to see everyone!!

Myklin's 1st grade program

So, yesterday was Myklin's 1st grade program. My parents had just been here last weekend, my mom told Myklin that she didn't think she'd be able to make it. Well Myklin was so sad. So of course my mom came. She got here right before the program and then after we went to dinner and Myklin's ball game. Can I just say how much i love the fact that my mom is my mom and my best friend. It's one of the best blessing I could ask for. She was pretty tired after the game so she stayed the night and left this morning. How many moms would do that? I know I can ALWAYS count on her . It's times like this that i wished we still lived in sevier county. :( But i do love st. George. She is still the mom who will do without so me and my kids can have something . I love ya mom. Any way Myklin's program was cute. I got a few pics, but my batteries went dead, darn it. Here are a few. The one of my mom and Dylan i love, it's them walking to the school. Also, the other pics are of Dylan. I was on the computer and turned around to find him like this.
